Character/Moral Values Training
|
THE YOUTH locations. The organization believes that high moral
standards taught at an early age increases the likelihood of having
a society of morally responsible citizens. Key emphasis is placed
on testing the youth to spiritually internalize values via the use of
moral reasoning. Participants are taught what to do in varying
situations, along with why the youth should follow the given
instructions; thus, the youth can learn both “how to do right” and
know “why they are doing right.” Results are that the youth
understands the moral action and then associates the action with
the resulting positive benefits. The expectation is for the youth
to transition to adulthood with good moral characters that show-
up in both their outer and inner man/woman.
